This is how it
looked when purchased.
The house needed a lot of work, both in
repairs, and in giving it some style.

After the
remodel: Craftsman details inside and out. New
siding, trim, paint, windows, porch, roof,
front stairs, and much more.

Side view with driveway and garage in back.

The old
living room.
Very plain.

The new living room. New fireplace, windows,
crown ceiling moldings, hardwoods,
& built-in bookcases.

Craftsman fireplace tile and mantel detail.

The old kitchen
could not be saved. The new
kitchen was expanded into an existing,
but unused, atrium/sun room.

New spacious kitchen with pan drawer
pull-outs,
glass cabinets, an expansive black granite
solid slab, and breakfast area.

Casual
kitchen eating area. Under-mount sink
by new window & stainless steel dishwasher.

New stainless steel appliances.

Old front door entry location.

New
front door entry location. Also created
paneled
separation wall and shoe bench.

By moving the front door, a spacious
side porch was created.

The before picture of this highly
unattractive
first floor bath. Too skinny for a bathtub.

The after
picture: Enlarged
bathroom.
New everything, but still
maintained
the period feel.

Second floor bath. Double sink cherry
vanity.
(I do not have a "before" picture.)

New large columns frame new formal dining.

Formal dining with hardwoods, crown moldings
and high base trim.

Old front entry on corner. You can barely
see where to enter the home.

New front entry moved to the front.
It is now clear where this grand entry is.

Side of new front stairs and arching
lattice.

Side landscaping detail and winding path.

New rear landscaping and renovated garage.

Rear view with all new siding and back yard.
